Safeguarding

At Harley Street Nursery, we thoroughly believe that children have the right to be completely secure from both the fear and reality of abuse, and we are committed to protecting all the children in our care from harm.

 

The Nursery dedicated Safeguarding Officer who is the manager. The Safeguarding Officer has suitable experience, training, and expertise, and is responsible for liaising with social services, the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB), the Early Years department and Ofsted in any Safeguarding matter.

 

The Nursery Safeguarding Children procedures comply with all relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989, the Children Act 2004 and other guidance or advice from the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB). These are currently ‘Safeguarding Our Children’ and ‘What to do if you’re worried a child is being abused’ poster and booklet.

 

The Nursery is committed to reviewing its Safeguarding policy and procedures at regular intervals. The policy and its procedures will be shared with parents/carers during their child’s settling in period.

Online Safety

Our Pedagogy

Our pedagogy is to allow children to explore and learn through modelling the correct behaviors, whilst letting them explore and investigate in a safe comfortable environment being there to support children they may need.
